Talkspace offers therapy and psychiatry providers the opportunity to connect with clients through text, audio, and video messaging. Therapists have the flexibility to engage asynchronously, allowing them to respond at their own convenience. Additionally, Live Video sessions are available depending on the client's plan. Psychiatrists can also prescribe medication for their clients and conduct live video sessions.

Talkspace serves a diverse range of clients including employees seeking counseling through their organization's benefits, individuals covered by our insurance partners (Optum, Humana, or Premera), and those who sign up directly on our platform. Clients are matched with providers based on their state of residency and areas of expertise. Patient eligibility is managed by Talkspace.

To become a Talkspace provider, you can submit your application online through our <a href="https://www.talkspace.com/join-our-network">website</a>. Accepted applicants will undergo a four-week "on-the-job" training with a peer mentor while using the Talkspace platform.

Research studies have shown that Talkspace is equally or more effective than in-person therapy. In fact, 81% of participants in a recent study felt that Talkspace was as effective or better. Other studies have demonstrated significant improvement in symptoms of depression and anxiety after just two months of using Talkspace.
